About Nelson
I’ve spent my career chasing one thing — the feeling that happens when music finally sounds like truth.
You may know me as one half of The Braxton Brothers, where I learned firsthand what it takes to create records that connect — not just technically, but emotionally. Over the years I’ve produced, mixed, and arranged music for smooth jazz, R&B, and soul artists across the country. Some of those songs went to #1. Some landed on national radio. All of them started the same way: with a conversation.
Because that’s where the real work begins — not with plugins or presets, but with people.
Before I write a single note, I listen. I listen to your phrasing, your tone, and your story. I learn what moves you, what you want people to feel, and what you want your music to mean.
